CLIENT PROFILE
Canterbury of New Zealand is the largest dedicated rugby brand in the world.  In addition to supplying apparel and gear to both club and high-profile national teams, they support grassroots and developing rugby groups. Canterbury of New Zealand’s commitment to its traditional roots in tandem with its dedication to innovation characterizes its approach to design that endures.  

CONCEPT
The design is inspired by the various design elements exhibited in Canterbury of New Zealand’s original manufacturing warehouse. The regular repetition of rectilinear shapes and forms conveyed by the diagonal ceiling beams and vertical columns of the warehouse informs the fundamental character of the design, and the wood and iron present in the warehouse translates into the use of rough, natural materials in the office space.  A rustic simplicity defines the design aesthetic which reflects the rugged masculinity of rugby.
