PROJECT LOCATION
Hanoi, Vietnam is a prime destination for both tourists and business people alike. Its history as a part of French Indochina has resulted in a beautiful fusion of traditional Vietnamese and French colonial architecture that comprises a great number of its metropolitan buildings. The lush greenery of its warm, humid subtropical climate defines the city’s landscape, and local vendors showcase the city’s traditional craftsmanship and cuisine along its bustling streets.
CONCEPT
The Indochine aesthetic is defined by the marrying of East and West, a contrast which is reflected in the space by the combination of traditional French and Vietnamese designs, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously airy and mysterious. The design is comprised of predominately simple geometric shapes and straight lines, contrasted with the selective incorporation of sleek curves and intricate patterns.
