PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A young couple with a new baby desire a space that accommodates their growing family, frequent entertaining,  outdoorsy lifestyle, and their contemporary, sophisticated taste. The creation of a welcoming and cultivated environment that reflects their personality and addresses their need for practicality constitutes the goal of the design. 

CONCEPT
The marrying of the traditional style of the home with the client’s contemporary style is achieved through a transitional design that incorporates traditional furnishings with both contemporary and mid-century pieces. Rough, natural textures such as wood and leather juxtaposed against smooth, shiny materials like brass, glass, and lucite marry the client’s love of rustic simplicity with their desire for a chic, sophisticated space.
